Overview:

We are seeking a talented MERN Stack Developer with expertise in MongoDB, Express.js, React, and Node.js to join our dynamic team in Kolkata. As a MERN Stack Developer, you will be responsible for building and maintaining robust web applications, managing both front-end and back-end components, and ensuring seamless API integrations. You should have a deep understanding of JavaScript, web development best practices, and agile methodologies, with the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team. Proficiency in modern development tools and frameworks is essential.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Designing and developing scalable applications using MongoDB, Express.js, React, and Node.js (MERN stack).
  • Developing front-end architecture for responsive web applications.
  • Building back-end services, APIs, and RESTful web services using Node.js and Express.js.
  • Managing and optimizing MongoDB databases and integrating third-party services.
  • Ensuring cross-platform optimization and responsiveness of applications.
  • Converting design wireframes and mockups into high-quality, functional React components.
  • Implementing security protocols and data protection measures for the full stack.
  • Writing modular, reusable, and efficient code, with a focus on performance.
  • Working closely with UI/UX designers to enhance user experience.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define and implement new features.
  • Staying updated with the latest JavaScript frameworks, libraries, and industry trends.

Knowledge and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (10+ years) as a MERN Stack Developer or in a similar role.
  • Strong proficiency in MongoDB, Express.js, React, and Node.js (MERN stack).
  • Experience in building RESTful APIs and integrating third-party services.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS or other cloud computing technologies.
  • Expertise in front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+), with experience using React for building dynamic user interfaces.
  • In-depth knowledge of database management, particularly with MongoDB and other NoSQL databases.
  • Experience with version control systems like Git.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and juggle multiple tasks.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work closely with cross-functional teams.
